1. Once you have registered with Investroute, we will contact you to discuss your requirements, goals and aspirations to better understand your investment strategy. You will be given access to all available property details on our website and receive free regular emails alerting you to new investment opportunities.

2. When you have chosen the property you wish to secure, contact us for a reservation form and return to us with a reservation fee (typically £1,000) to reserve the property. At this point you must be confident of obtaining the necessary funding to purchase the property. We can help you with funding by putting you in contact with one of our Mortgage Advisers from our Partner Company who can discuss mortgages and funding as necessary.

3. We instruct our solicitor who will act on your behalf to contact you and assist in the legal process for purchasing the property.

4. The developer’s solicitor will produce the contracts ready for exchange between you and the deveveloper.

5. After your chosen lender has asked their surveyor to value the property, you will receive the mortgage offer and contracts ready for exchange within 28 days of reserving the property (this will vary depending on developer and solicitors used).

6. On exchange, you will be expected to pay a deposit of 5% (amount may vary) plus approximately £750 for solicitors fees plus 1.5% of property list price for Investroute introducers fee.

7. Both the developer and you are now committed to the contract for selling and buying the property respectively.

8. A completion date will be agreed, which may be the same day or some time later (particularly for off-plan property), where all the settlements and balances will take place. You will receive a completion statement from your solicitor showing a breakdown of all charges, fees and balances.

9. You are now the proud owner of your new property investment with ready built-in equity.
